San Francisco, tech giant Microsoft has unveiled several system-wide features designed to improve virtual meetings on Windows 11.

Microsoft shared details about the future of Windows and how we’re building new experiences to improve the way we work today and in the future.

“We launched Windows 11, the operating system designed for hybrid work, just over six months ago and we’re excited to hear how our customers, like Tower, are finding new ways to empower employees. and drive their business forward,” said Wangui McKelvey, Chief Executive Officer. , Microsoft 365, said in a blog post.

Features include auto framing to recenter your camera as you move, voice clarity, voice focus, and background blur to reduce visual and audio distractions in the background.

“One of my favorites among these new AI-powered features is called Eye Contact, which improves eye contact in virtual meetings and video calls,” McKelvey said.

Another feature, Live Captions, allows users to easily access captions from all audio experiences and applications on Windows, including web-based audio, like audio from your favorite streaming websites.

The company said it’s also introducing new security features in Windows 11 to make it the most secure version of Windows Microsoft has ever designed for hybrid and remote workers.

Microsoft is also adding a Windows 365 switch that will allow users to move between Windows 365 Cloud PC and the local desktop.
