Microsoft Sri Lanka has signed up as a Gold Partner for the “Sri Lanka Internet Day 2022”, organized by the Digital Services Section of the Federation of Information Technology Sri Lanka (FITIS) to be held on November 22 at the Hilton in Colombo.

“We believe that the internet and all the technological advancements that come with it are key to supporting Sri Lanka’s economic recovery and enabling greater resilience across all sectors. We are therefore proud to partner with FITIS and serve as a Gold Partner for Sri Lanka Internet Day 2022,” said Harsha Randeny, Microsoft Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Organized under the theme: “Digital Lifestyle: Lifeline to over turmoil”, this will be the second consecutive year that the event will take place, offering Sri Lankans from all walks of life the opportunity to engage with local and global experts in the industry.

“We warmly welcome Microsoft Sri Lanka’s partnership with FITIS. Their support reinforces our shared belief that all stakeholders in the Sri Lankan economy – from the public sector to large corporations, SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs – must all find ways to leverage the internet to their advantage.

This year’s theme “Digital Lifestyle” was chosen by the organizers in order to highlight civic engagement in a digital society; how the internet and digitization can have a positive impact on everyday life by merging with information technology.
