Microsoft launches Surface Pro X 2-in-1 in India, price starts at Rs 93,999


US tech giant Microsoft launched its two-in-one ARM-powered two-in-one device, the Surface Pro X, in India on Tuesday. The affordable 13-inch Surface line device will be available at authorized commercial resellers. from Microsoft, Reliance Digital stores and the Reliance Digital online store. The device will be available in four configurations with a price starting at Rs 93,999 for consumers and Rs 94,599 for businesses.

“We’re excited to expand our portfolio of Microsoft devices with the addition of the new Surface Pro X with built-in Wi-Fi. This new model combines the slim and sleek design associated with the Pro X along with a day’s battery life at its most affordable entry price yet, providing more flexible options for our customers, ”said Bhaskar Basu, Country Head – Devices (Surface), Microsoft India.

Weighing 774g, the Surface Pro X is the thinnest and lightest Pro device in the Surface line. It’s powered by a bespoke 8-core processor, which Microsoft says is capable of delivering all-day performance, fast connectivity, long battery life, and ultra-quiet performance.

The device has an integrated 5 megapixel front camera capable of shooting up to 1080p HD which automatically adapts to the lighting conditions. Powered by artificial intelligence and the on-board neural engine, Eye Contact helps adjust your gaze during video calls so that you appear to be looking straight into the camera. There are two far-field studio microphones and speakers optimized to deliver an immersive and engaging video calling experience. The device includes two USB-C ports and a dedicated magnetic surflink (with an additional USB-A).

As for the screen, it’s a 13-inch PixelSense touchscreen with a built-in kickstand. The display supports the Surface Slim Pen 2, which is stored and loaded in the Signature keyboard. With Windows 11 and built-in 64-bit emulation, the new Surface Pro X supports more applications.
