Today, the third-party developers had assets and announcements to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We start with Just Flight, which provided a dev update and new screenshots on the upcoming BAE 146.

A quick development update for you as we reach the very last stages of 146 Professional development. We are now busy putting this pre-release version through rigorous testing to identify any issues and verify that all the new content that was only recently added to the aircraft works as intended.

Here are some images to show the new content such as full MSFS checklist support, new EFB features, new variants including cargo variant door and related liveries such as Cobham and Cello, new cockpit features including 8k textures and cup holders, sun visors and seats and of course FMS integration.

We plan to release more videos before release to show them in more detail, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy the new photos and that they help whet your appetite!

Next is Drzewiecki Design, who presented the progress made on Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport (EPRZ) in Poland.

We also received an announcement from Verticalsim, who are currently working on Tampa International (KTPA) in the United States. We also learn that the developer plans to release Eppley Airfield (KOMA) and will likely release it before Tampa itself.

Here are some features for Tampa and some screenshots:

  • Major Downtown Tampa Buildings (Truist, Regions, PNC, Sykes, etc.)
  • Several surrounding landmarks (Tropicana Field, Raymond James, Rocky Point, International Plaza Mall, etc.)
  • Terminal interiors
  • All airport buildings modeled
  • Airport development 2022
  • Animated monorails, SkyConnect
  • Airport network with the 3 taxiway bridges
  • HDR lighting
  • Custom Gateways

Finally, Sim Skunk Works has announced that its next aircraft will be the SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 light military trainer (also known as the Aermacchi/Leonardo SF-260).
